1 rear wheel spin
hi everybody,we have owned a 2000 grand cherokee larado for a year now and i have noticed when its slippery out only the r.rear spins very easy in 2wd is this normal i would have thought the rear would be a limited slip,thanks in advance for any replies, Chris

Chris it sounds like you have a 4.0L with select trac. please confirm.
it is only Quadradrive that has front a rear Limited Slip and the transfer case is a 249 which has two shift positions - AWD and low.
sounds like yours is working as it should. look into Locrite slip in locker. low cost and it can be done in someones garage. good luck and let us know what you find or did about it. rear locker is quite an experience. ask more questions if you wish about how it works and what it is like to drive with a locker on the streets. I can help.
