Shocks on 99 WJ
I have a 99 WJ with 180K on the clock.
The previous owner had Sensa Tracs installed. Cant stand them. Anybody have previous experience on a good shock for a mostly city driven GC that are acutally availble in Canada? It's not lifted or Up Country. Thank You |
Re: Shocks on 99 WJ
Hey Brad12
Shock Absorbers usually last about 80 -100k so it sounds as though you're due. I installed a set of Monroe Reflex Shocks on a 2001 JGC and was quite impressed. I think they retail for about $95 a piece and are available through Napa. Check with your garage because I think Monroe is running a buy 3 get one free campaign to any Napa or Auto Logic dealer ( don't quote me on this ). By the way and I don't know if ya' care but at 80k the average shock absorber has cycled over 22 million times! Good luck |
Re: Shocks on 99 WJ
Thanks, I'm looking at those or KYB's.
Here in Winnipeg everyone seems to sell Monroe only. |
Re: Shocks on 99 WJ
Mac71 is right, those seem to be a good buy. Installed them on many work trucks, to standard vehicles with good results.
