New here and needing some help

First off hello to everyone. I came across the forum after looking for some info on a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee i'm looking at buying and some things I noticed while test driving it. I'm hoping a Jeep guru or maybe a suspension guru can help me out in deciding if this Jeep is worth buying.

It's a 1993 GC with a 3 1/2" bds suspension lift. Now I'm not to familiar with lifts so when I took it out it seemed to have a strange kinda sway to it. When hitting most bumps it swayed what seemed corner to corner, so the front drivers corner swayed with the back passenger side. Sounds kinda strange but thats the best way I can describe it. Is that from the suspension lift or is it maybe due to something else like needing a sway bar or something?
The other thing I noticed is the steering wheel seemed to have a fair amount of play in it, is that something that can be adjusted on the steering box? He claims he had it in for a wheel alignment and they told him it was fine. I would muchly appreciate any help on whether these are normal things i've noticed or if it's indicating much bigger problems. Thanks! :beerchug:

It could need new shocks or stiffer ones, did you check and see if the F/R swaybars are tight? They should squeak loudly if their loose. It almost sounds like the rear swaybar is disconnected.
For the steering you would have to check the steering box and see if the bolts are letting it come away from the frame (common but easy fix).

As Guy said about the sway bar, many people that offroad allot remove the rear sway bar completely or disconnect it (I removed it on my xj) for better articulation offroading and the front one I had disconnects so YES check that closely.
