When you start it do u see a light on the dash that looks like an engine which stays on even when its running? If so then you have codes which should tell u what ur problem is. There are a couple of ways to read these codes, 1 is with a OBD2 (I think) and the other with turning the key on and off (not sure how that one works) Hoping someone else more knowledgeable on the Grand will come in here and reply. Does it sputter, which could be a loose vacuum line or cracked one (ck under the hood). Also since its not new have u ever put any injector cleaner in it (add to gas fill up) clogged injectors don't help much either.

Thanks mr. White, but there is no check engine light, and it has been sputtering for about three months, check the vacume lines didn't look like problems, I will try injector cleaner, but what's your take on the fuel pump//fuel pump filter?

First things I'd check is ensure you have a good ground to the engine block. How are your spark plugs? when was your last tune up? are you getting spark ok? and how is the fuel pressure to the rail? That's where I'd start first. Are you getting a bad idle? possibly tps issue then?. Good luck!
