Firestone HR-78/15 tires??
hey everyone, im in ergent need of tires but dont have the money for them at the moment but i have a a complete set or Firestone HR-78/15 M/S tires that are practically new. Do you guys see any problems with me using these tires??? from what iv researched that size is equal to 235/70/15 tires and my tires that are on now are 235/75/15, is that correct????
any info appreciated, thanks!! |

if the only difference is one size smaller on the sidewall, then is should be no problem.
EDIT: Where did you get these tires? I can't find anything on the googles about them...Are they Passenger or LT tires? Radials? |

one of my friends dads said i could take them for free, im at work at the moment so i cant look at them to see what exactly they are but i just remember them saying HR-78R15 M/S ASR firestone

The only problem with those tires is that they are about 20 years old. I would worry about the safety of those .

fr=205 If I remember well those were the conversion number
gr=215 If they were properly store they might still be good hr=225 make sure there is no crack on the side walls Lr=235 |
