Default Seat Compatablility question

i have a 1969 cj5 with the drivers side under seat gas tank...anyone know of any resonably priced bolt in seats or what year stock seats will bolt in or need only minor mods to work? any advice will help......Corbeau makes nice bolt in type but i dont want to spend $500 dollars on front seats for my boony crasher.

some intermediate lo bac seats will bolt in, but they will most likely be as thrashed as your originals. there are some lowbacks made new, that might fit, at best, you might have to adapt some brackets. people's opinion vary on these and their comfort, I suggest using the search feature. you can adapt just about anything or buy the cheapy rotomold plastic seast from like Summit or Jeg's. they look pretty cool and are not affected by rain and the elements and they are CHEAP.
