CJ3B Suspension???
As mentioned in my introduction I have a 54 Cj3b that I paid $150 for and it needs more then a little TLC. I am trying to get a ''TO DO'' list put together so I can get an estimated build cost. So far it goes like this:
New plugs - Check Change oil - Check Plug wires - Sheet metal (to replace the missing floor) - Front bumper - Square tubing (to fix frame) - Suspension Lift - So I know where to get most of the material I need, but the suspension is stumping me. So my first question is will a lift for a '55 CJ5 be the same as I need for my '54 CJ3B? Before anyone gets upset with me for not restoring. I do not have the funds to restore this Jeep and really just want a unique trail rig. Thanks for any info you can offer. |
Re: CJ3B Suspension???
Judging from your post it seems that you have fabrication and welding skills so you should be able to adapt a lift from a similar weight vehicle without too much trouble. Cut, grind, weld, repeat, ah! good times.
