Hi, I'm interested in picking up a cj in good running condition as a summer street vehicle. I know there are many variables, but what are the approximate maintenance costs of keeping a CJ on the road as a hobby vehicle.

I would have to find a good reasonable mechanic as I'm not a DIYer.

Any info would be appreciated.

 

if thejeep is in great condition , it wontcost you more then a regular pick up truck ,

but i woulndt be able to put a specific amount $$$$...
it depends so much on the initial jeep condition .....

if you are not mecanicaly inclined id buy a recent TJ ....
