Renix oil filter adapter vs H.O help

Renix oil filter adapter vs H.O help
long story short. in swapping my Renix block for a H.O. on the Renix the oil filter goes veriticle. pointing up.- but on the H.O block. it goes horizontal. pointing towards the firewall. what's the differance??? do I need to swawp to the Renix ofa for the computer -to work ? any advice would be great.- thanks folks.-
