I have a 97xj sport I am getting no heat or very little from vents and defroster is it possible I have a plugged heater core. When I adjust the controls I hear the doors moving. the thermostat was replaced not to long ago. any help or ideas.

 

First thing to check is that you are not low on coolant. Feel both the heater hoses, they should both be hot (hot engine of course). If one is hot and one is cold then it's not circulating through the core.

Your engine is up to temp, right? Or do you have the dash with the dummy lights?

 

Temps are all up, I did a reverse flush on the heater core things are a little better getting heat now, when the weather warms up more I will do another flush.
