Good lift kit

What is a good lift kit these days? 2001 Sport. I don't want to break the budget. Not a huge comp style kit. Just something for moderate off-roading. Slightly better clearance. 2-3" say. Good shocks/springs.

Re: Good lift kit

You can spend a lot of money on a lift kit, but there are other ways to reach the height you want. I used a set of BDS front coils and a set of Chevy S10 leaf springs. With the leafs use all but the main and that will give you the 3 inches you are after. Get yourself some 1 inch square stock and make your own transfer case drop spacers, and then look for a good track bar relocation bracket. When it comes to shocks do some shopping around and find what best suites your desires, as there are so many different choices to make. And using a little inginuity you will be able to come up with a set of quick disconnects for your front sway bar.

Thanks, Shadowman. That's about what I'm looking to do, too. Don't want to get too high or wide because of tight spots I like to get through, and side hills.

Nice setup you got there!
