front diff hose

2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport

The rubber line from the front diff fell off due to bumpy back roads to fishing hole. Can't see where it goes to from the front diff. Diagram would help. Is this a vent hose?

It's just a vent hose. dosn't matter it where goes to as long as it's higher than the water you usually go through.

usually it goes up to the stop of the shock stud on the drivers side fender... you usually want it mounted as high as possible... people extend them if they go into deep water on a regular basis...
