Greetings from Nova Scotia from a new jeep owner with some silly questions that I hope are worth answering.
I have a 95 Cherokee and I am looking at a Grand Cherokee for parts that was rear ended and has some parts already off it.
I need a front axle housing and mine is the basic sport model with out ABS with universal joints, but the Grand has ABS with Cv Joints on the front axle.

Will the two front ends swap over?

Is it likley that the Engines (both 6cylinder) would swap?
The same for the transfer case and the transmission?
Are many of the parts interchangeable?
Obviously glass and body parts are not.

you would be better off finding a straght cherokee instead of a grand for parts, first off you would need to change most of your front suspention to fit the grands front diff, and the CV joints are a lot weaker than your u joints, and a full diff far out weight a independent suspention any day,all most any diff from any cherokee 84 95 should fit souck long as your gear ratio are the same
