anyone have a good starter for a 1.6 8v tracker ,

Auto or stick?.....I bet it's just the brushes in the starter motor....Pull the starter apart and see and if thats all thats wrong a new set of brushes are around $8. I got mine @ Auto electric on cushman in st kitts......it's an easy fix ;)
