what is the function of this?

 

i bought a trek top. my jeep did not come with a factory soft top, so im missing the door surrounds. right now the trek top wraps around the roll bar leaving a gap where water pours in.

 

I know it sounds really weird but you may be better off buying a complete top. If you want a tight top, you might run into issues getting two different branded tops.

This is the reason why i opted for the factory hard top, and if i want a soft top, i just put on a bikini top. I would only use it for road trips in the summer etc. But i mean if your using full time summer soft top, might want a complete set.

i have a fatory soft top i use in the winter. at the time i couldnt afford to buy a full soft top. actually once i got thru buying all the little pieces that i needed for the trek top, windjammer and tonno cover, with shipping and duties it would have been the same price. sigh. i found a pair on a site last night for 99$. thanks anyways guys.
