soon to be a Jeep Liberty owner (need help)

Hi,

My wife was recently rear-ended and we lost our trusty Tracker. I introduced her to a used Liberty as a replacement and she's in love with it (as am I). SO now the search begins for a purchase. I seem to be able to find lots to choose from (2004-2007) but not sure which was the best of these years for reliability etc:confused:. Any help would be appreciated. Also, sometime down the road when the wife is done university, I'd like to maybe add a lift kit and a few other mods to make it a better bush vehicle.

I new to Jeep (except for the old Willys Jeeps my grampa and dad drove decades ago) so any help in making a choice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

PS: I work away from home and have no internet while away so be patient with me if you respond to my appeal and do not hear back from me for awhile.

I've got a leased one that comes up in May. Its a 2007 limieted and have had no problems with it. We are actually looking at getting rid of it soon. We only have 45k on it and our lease permits 80160. Its great in the snow as well

Thanks for the info. From what limited info I've been gathering, 05 and 07 were the best used units out there. I'm still looking(and dealing with the insurance company: (
