Canada Our first Jeep

Our new Drain, wallet and time, can't belive it took 48years to dive into pool. feels good now that we'er here.

Yes Mr White it's all going, well maybe not all but most, We put the 2.5 BB on and am always looking at wheels and tires now the wife hates that. would love 16" D windows with 35" Nitto Terra Grapplers or Pit Bull Rockers, will probly happen next summer.

Get the Cs reinforced. Those D30s dont handle big tires(or even stock for that matter) too long before they start to bend in.

Ok I'm a Jeep newbie, what the hell are the C's that need to be reinforced, and the D30's.that must be the Dwindows that I am looking at, if so are they bad, they bend, I don't now I just thought they would look great

Good question, I was going to ask too what the C's are. I'm going to gues too....something within the from Dana 30 pumkin....C clips perhaspe?

GOT it!

My previous guess was goofy. Is it the end of each axle tube were the u-joint connects to the rotor assembly. I now recall an artical on guys welding in steel reinforcements to keepem from bending.

The Cs are the other portions of the axle tubes that connect to the Knuckle and allows the wheel to turn. They tend to bend in either direction.

Being in windsor you have several options decently close by. TMR customs has a decent set available but I tend to suggest Staangs fab for almost anything and this is the same case. Staang has welded up the Cs on one that I saw and it was really well done. Heres some pictures of the C welded up.






The axle truss is usually a good idea too, the tubes tend to bend upwards aswell with larger tires. I'd do that as soon as possible.

Or sleeve it like Eric (from staangs fab) did here
