I am Geline from the Philippines, the land of many jeeps :)!

I like this forum because it makes me love my dear country coz the jeep is one of the things that distinguishes it from other countries !!

I seem to remember hearing that jeeps are much used in the Philippines. That is one part of the world that I have not been to yet Do you live in the Philippines now?

btw: I once applied for a job as a teacher in Mindanao!

What does Mabuhay mean? Is it Tagalog?

Mabuhay is Tagalog, it means welcome! :)

Nice to hear from you, telegraph and yes, you're right, the jeep is the most useful means of transportation in our country and I live in Cebu City, located in the center of the archipelago. Mindanao is in the southern part. You have to go to our country and see the difference that it can show :)
