Default Hey! New Guy from Mississauga!

Hey Folks!
New here and new to Jeep ownership. I'm still shopping around but getting anxious to take the plunge.
99% of the driving will be urban city streets, so I'm not looking for a rock crawler.
Feel free to offer suggestions and advice. That's what I'm here for!

A new jeep (JK) nice to have but if you decide to offroad (which is why else would you buy a JEEP)
your going to scratch it (more than likely) a second hand jeep. Be sure you crawl underneath and
look for cracked or bend frame, check drive lines for over looseness. Take it for a spin on the hard
surface then go unto some dirt road and run a little slower and put it into 4 wheel high. Does it go in
like butter and run smooth. Come to a COMPLETE stop and put it into 4 low and keeping your speed
down go though the gears (that's saying its a stick). You can shift from 2 wheel to 4 high on the fly (not
at 50 mph but lower) A 2 door you will find will give you a more choppy ride compared to a 4 door.
If you are looking for an automatic.. I am lost.. never had an automatic anything except for the wifes
vehicle (Escape)
And remember its a JEEP and if you want good mileage don't buy a JEEP ... its like a brick on the
hy... I make 12 mpg with my set up.. but then I go where no one else goes... love in it..
