Hello Everyone.

Hi. I have recently bought my first Jeep. I have wanted one since high-school but never bought one, I don't know why. I think I am more excited for the snow this year than my 4-year-old. We both have our noses presses against the living room window waiting for more snow! I had a toy truck that was strictly a toy. The problem was that I couldn't drive it nearly 6 months of the year. It sat on super-wide low-pros and had so much torque that it just simply would not hook up in the snow and ice. Oh, and it had a low 5 inch ground clearance so one snow fall and it was done! It sucks staring at a toy for 6 months a year wishing you can play with it. The only thing I could do was slide it down the driveway. That's it. I would need a push to get it back up! So, I traded it off on a new Jeep. (Really big and scary decision.) And, because it was a toy for a toy trade I didn't hold back. Now, I am not made of money, the only way I can afford it is to make the Jeep my daily driver. Oh well! I got a 2014 Rubicon 2-door. Anvil Grey. It left the factory on Sept. 24 in fact. I wanted as many gadgets as possible, so that is the reasoning for the Rubicon model. I didn't want to pay more later for the lockers, sway disconnect and bigger tires if I can get them out of the box. Right now it is bone stock. The only modifications I have done are; Broken windshield and sand blasted the lower door hinges from dirt and rocks coming off the tires. Everyone says those things stick out and catch debris, no kidding! I have plans for a lift and 35's, winch, bumpers, etc. etc. Right now, I just want to learn what it can and can't do in stock condition and start spending my money on the real weak spots rather than just blindly throwing cash at it. If anyone has advice or knows some pitfalls of these things please let me know. I am all ears. I am looking forward to getting to know you all. Until next time, Cheers!
