2021 jeep wrangler rubicon OBD error U0111
Hi fellow jeep friends, I’m new to this forum and I have 2021 jeep wrangler rubicon I replaced the halogen bulbs with led with resistors and led fog lights, been about a week now and I saw check engine light on today, I have a OBD scanner so I scanned it and got an error of U0111 now I’m not sure if that’s related to the aftermarket bulbs as I had no issue before I’m kinda leaning toward it is or something else that could be quintessential. Your feedback and experience is appreciated.
I did the same thing a few years ago i changed the head lamps to LED bulbs and they worked great for awhile
Then one day they didn't seemed to have the power they were supposed to have. Checking the wiring i found
out my Ground wire had fried. The LED light were drawing to much power anyways, I changed the wiring and put in
standard headlamp bulbs instead of the LED bulbs and all is okay now. This could be ur problem, I'd be inclined
to check all the wiring pretaining to ur new LED bulbs. For example since its nice to have extra lights for offroading
or driving on those skinny roads at night mount some LED lights on the bumper or even on the front fender on a separate
switch. Good luck and lets us know how u make out
