Canada 2012 hopeful

Hey everyone,

Im new here.. I dont have my Jeep YET but by the fall I want to be in a new 2012 jeep.
Im on here to learn what I can before jumping in.

I am waiting until the fall :

1 so save a little more $$ to put down on it as I HATE owing anything.. Ill still have to finance it but the less I barrow the better in my eyes.

and

2 with the new engine I want to see how it does, what bugs to be on the look out for, and get a feel for what options are worth getting and ones to avoid (on a jeep wrangler forum I was looking around there was threads on the auto AC being crap and not worth it as it doesnt work right as well as some engine ticking in the '12 but they were all US models, anyone have any issues yet with a 12?)

I cant wait to dive in here and read what Canadians have to say about Jeeps :-)

Happy Trails

Hi, I'm new here too.

Just wanted to say if you don't have to wait, don't! I had to wait 125 days for mine due to what I wanted so a special order was needed but it killed me to wait 4 months. This is the best vehicle I've ever owned. I've always wanted a Jeep, almost bought a new one back in 94 but went another direction instead. Now, finally everything came together so I took the plunge! All I can say is WOW!
I only have 750kms on mine but everything is great, no issues with the Auto AC, though it did take me a while to figure it out. I don't use that function much, just control the temp/fan as normal. I wasn't aware the ticking problem was just US spec orders? Isn't it the same engine?
My wife and I are under the same mindset and believe life is waaaay to short to sweat the little things, so we get what we want and live. If you don't like payments you'll always have to wait for stuff and enjoy them, then new stuff comes out and you change your mind and yurn for that instead, never really getting anything. While I appreciate your integrity when it comes to payments I myself find that we personally could never have anything without them, at least the big stuff anyway and that's IMHO!
