2 jeep family

Hello,

After champing at the bit , waiting for a lease to expire - which seemed like forever (5 years) , my brain had been repeating "jeep, jeep, jeep" at me for what seems like forever.
So December I had a nice early Christmas present - a 2012 JKU Rubicon , Black , Manual , Max Tow & 4.10.

I dodged a bullet as id ordered a Sahara Tan Rubicon , auto but it was going to be a 3.73 as the dealer wasnt aware 4.10 was still an extra option.
The colour was a bit of a downer but Black had been my original choice and other than how badly dirty it gets (really in a jeep a minor issue) im kind of glad its what i did get (although they seem uber common in black). Love the manual - its what id always driven so really I was just thinking as i sometimes have a commute to Mississauga auto would be a better choice but now i dont mind at all.

Well I raved about it so much my wife decided to trade her mitso outlander and now has a flame red Sahara JKU - auto with the 3.21. she tried like nobodies business to find a better axle but just seems the dealers havent been ticking that option. Its not likely to see much action beyond mild trails so not the end of the world. 33" tires may be on it some day but it should cope with them.

sorry my first post was a "for sale" but my garage isnt big enough for two hard tops and my wife cant wait to go topless

Sold my motorcycle to put towards wheels and a lift - have dirty dog netting in red - for my faithful(?) dalmatian as a passenger and waiting for an ORH fastback top delivery.

Not decide 100% on lift or tire size etc yet. Im pretty certain to go for 35" or 33" MTZs , just a bit wary about the extra issues lifting a 2012 so i may go for a 33 with no lift as an interim (these can move sideways to the sahara when i lift later.

Anyway - this looks like a good Canadian forum so look forward to using it quite a bit.

Welcome to the forum man.
Look into the lifting a bit., theres some exhaust modification with the '12s when you slap a lift on them, front driveshaft contacts your pipes! Pretty sure theres lots of kits out there to remedy it! Im sure you know anyway just giving you a heads up man.
