What brand and size tires are you running on your jeep,
How do you like them?
Would you buy them again or switch to some other Brand and why?
Give us the Pros and Cons on the tires
Do they wear fast or normal
Give us a price range you paid for them at the time

I'll start
Maxxis "Big Horn" Mud tires 33x12.5r15 on 7" offset rims (next time it will be 8")
Paid $175 each 3 years ago, There a 6 ply tire where most tires are a 4 ply. There heavy, the side wall is hard. I think there wearing down fast, but using the jeep as a daily may be this is normal. Would I buy them again not sure, looking for 35" next time. They are not ready available everywhere.. may be will in the future. There great on heavy rainy roads, deep snow, ice they suck like most tires this size, very good in mud and slippery rocks because of the side wall thread. Balancing the new ones was very easy and light on the weights

Yokohama Geolander MT's. 33x12.5/15. I've been running them for about a month on my DD, they seem to be wearing quite quickly. I think that is a blessing because then I can justify buying a new set of BFG AT's. The Yoke's really make my Jeep wander, instead of driving, I'm now aiming. Great tires in the mud and dirt, but not highly recommended for a DD.

Running Firestone Destination A/T's on my DD. Just under 14000 on them and so far tread wear is good and on/ offroad traction has been excellent. Handle very well on the highway and no problems so far in rocks and mud.
My only complaint is they have a soft sidewall so when turning on pavement in town (30-50 km/h) the Jeep rocks a bit when you run over frost heave cracks.
They have some sipes so I'll see how they perfom on the snow and ice this winter.

Mr. White. Running CTC Total Terrain Radial A/T. Came with Muriel when I got her. Wasn't too bad last winter (small amount of snow) but I'm toying with the idea of putting on BFG A/T (stock size) if I can get the cash together. Current tires are not all that good but I'm not wheeling yet and I drive like a little old lady.
I had 2 sets of BFG A/T's on last Jeep and as I recal got about 150K on a set. According to my tire guy, he thinks they're the best (runs them on all his trucks) but maybe they're just the ones he makes the most profit on??????

Size: 31X10.5R15 - Mounted on stock Cherokee wheels

I'm at stock height and I only had some rubbing on one part of the right front fender flare when I would turn. I had to cut a small section of it and now it only rubs on the lower control arms at "full lock". If I carry people in the back, then it hits the inner fender wheel well when I hit a hard bump.

Can't really tell you much on the way the perform overall as I bought them last month. So far, they are very good on dry and wet pavement. I went to play in some wet mud yesterday and didn't have any issue. I know this isn't a tire to do any major rock crawling, but I don't plan on doing any crawling until I get my lift on. Then I will buy some 33 or 35 inch tires.

Currently running the stock tires Bridgestone Dueler A/T P255/70R18. A tire I have found to be "good" at everything but doesn't excel at any one thing.
I am considering Goodyear Dura Tracs (33") as their replacement, but also still doing some home work on the matter too to decide on what is right for the driving I do.
Essentially I run unmaintained roads, some overland use, and forestry/logging roads with lots of mud and water. I don't do big rock crawling. The Jk is my daily driver so the tires need to have decent on road manners as well.

When I had my 1989 Cherokee Pioneer I ran the M/S big blocky tires Canadian Tire once sold. Can't remember what they were called or the size. They were exceptional on trails and mud and deep snow, they were scary at times on hard packed snow and real scary on icy roads.

I went with the duratracs (265/70/17) about a month ago and I love the tire. like you my jk is daily driven. I did notice a slight increase in gas consumption after switching from stock. I went with a aftermarket 17" steel rim which chrysler does not make (thumbs down). I am guessing I needed a bit more of an offset because after riding them for a few weeks I now notice that they are rubbing my drivers side sway bar on full turns. I want to fix this asap and am considering wheel spacers? would this help? Anyways back on topic. these tires are fantastic and super quiet on the highway. I have studded mine and they are super sticky on the ice so far.

I will be putting in 1.5" wheel spacers with mine or if $ permit a lift instead. I am looking at the LT275/70R18 Dura Trac . I unfortunately can't use studs here in Ontario.

Getting just a little away from the main topic I would like to suggest if at all possible yu get offset rims rather than wheel spacer (as I've heard they aren't good on the wheel bearings) without panicking you some do run them and have no problem just saying like I was told.

ALSO: keep it coming guys and gals on this topic it will for sure help us all in buying good tires for our rides

^ Thanks fella. I don't think I can change rim sizes now however. cash reasons. I am also considering a 2.5" suspension lift but was thinkingthat spacers would fix the immediate issue (rubbing against sway bar) sorry about the hijack fellas. I'm moving this topic to a new thread right now.

on topic. DURATRACS are the bees knees so far
