Your talking $1000. after taxes and shipping pros and cons? Superwinch (had a used 9000X for years) bought a 8500 at CTC for $400. Costco has a Champion for the same price.. I know guys with both which is better? Without being the winch boy and using it when ever your in trouble is in my idea a good winch to have. Warn another good name big bucks - never had one can't say - many swear by this brand. I know my reply isn't saying weather you shud buy from the usa or not.. but u could buy 2 Superwinches or Champions for that price.. One thing I would say if you can get one with ROPE cable instead of WIRE cable you will find it allot better.. especially you won't get a piece of wire into you fingers as the cable gets older...also allot less dangerous if its snaps.. always use caution when operating a winch...
Thanks Mr.White, I'd actually have the winch shipped to my cousin the US. He would bring it up to me here in Montreal, Price: $856.89 Sale Price: $634.10.

I've heard that Rope cable is better as well, just need something to pull me out. Warn is good, have that for my ATV.
I guess I'd like a winch I can rely on, if I have to spend a little extra to get that peace of mind. I'm for it. Getting stuck is fun, it's the waiting hours for help that isn't.

12000 lbs shud work real nice with your JK. Just don't go offroading alone, even with a winch. Better with min 3 trucks. Too many times I've seen guys go 1 truck with a buddy in pass seat, get stuck and have to walk out or could be worse have an accident.
