Installing bigger tires on your stock wheels or maybe on a set of New wheels? While making a full locking turn your Jeeps front sway bar, frame rail, and possibly lower control arms may get some light rubbing. This happens when the backspacing is not correctly formulated. Unfortunately many Jeepers don’t know this until their new wheels and new tires are fully mounted and installed on the Jeep. Jeepers might run into this issue after installing a small lift, especially if an adjustable front track bar wasn’t included with the kit. Now, the obvious fix would be to buy new wheels with correct back spacing or install a set of Wheel Spacers to help reduce your back spacing. But if the rubbing is very minor, you may find it just as easy to adjust out your steer stops. This modification will cause you to loose a little bit of turning radius. Using a couple washers and a wrench, you can easy fix your light rubbing issue in minutes.
