looking for some advice
My 93 YJ is making a grinding noise once in 5th gear. Gears 1 to 4 work fine and I can get it into 5th but it sounds like gears grinding. Anybody have any ideas before I have to go to a tranny shop and loose my house.

Sounds like the 5th gear sycronizer is on its way out the back door......not at all uncommon if it is a AX-15(6cyl) Jeep.
