good all terrain tire?
hey ya'll
my cherokee needs tires bad and i was wondering in all of your experiences with tires what is the best all terrain. i had a set of bfg all terrains for one of my other trucks and they lasted forever, even with repeated smoke shows, and the traction wasn't half bad. so is there a tire on the market that has just as good traction or wear. i would buy a set of mud terrains but aggressive tires mean aggressive mud running ( i fall easily to peer pressure) i also have beater trucks for that. thanx in advance Drew |
Re: good all terrain tire?
I had BFG's on my 1971 240Z and loved them then and just put BFG T/A KO's on my 98 TJ and am loving them again.
We had a good amount of snow and ice on the roads here yesterday and they tested out great for me. I live a few minutes from work but took 2 hours getting home just because I was having so much fun booting around looking for unplowed streets. Best all around tires you can get for the price imo. |
Re: good all terrain tire?
I'm running some type of Michelins at the moment... not too bad but I thought they were a bit pricey... I would shop around for some BFG's based on price and thread pattern...

BFG A/T's are good, I've run with them quite a bit, the new Firestone Destination KM2's are a good choice also.
