DIY door dollies
Materials per dolly: 4 swivel casters, 1x 2"x4"x8', 1x 2"x6"x8', 4x 90 deg brackets, #8 1.5" wood screws, #8 2.5" wood screws.
Dolly size is 18" x 30", center post is 48".
step 1: Measured and cut the 2x4 at 30", 60" and 78" then lightly sanded the edges.
step 2: Laid the two 18" pieces on the floor with the 30" pieces on top and squared it up.
step 3: Using 2.5" wood screws I secured the casters and 30" boards to the 18"s.
step 4: Measured and cut 30" off the 2"x6" and lightly sanded edges.
step 5: Attached the 2x6 centered between the 30" 2x4s with 2.5" wood screws, flipped cart over.
step 6: Measured and cut the 48" 2x6 center post from opposite end of previous cut.
step 7: Measured and marked the centerline of the dolly for center post.
step 8: Had to drill the bracket holes out so screws would pass easily, balanced the 2x6 on the centerline and secured brackets to post and dolly using 1.5" wood screws.

There are no wear marks on the paint yet as they only conact the wood. I have and originally intended to contact cement 1/2" rubber foam but the urge to go for a drive doorless beat the need for the rubber. lol Will attach it someday...
