What are the BFG KM2's like in the mud? Do they clean out or get packed up with mud and turn into useless slicks?

Don't know much about bfg's.. but I do know that a set of maxxis bighorns work really nice in mud I run 4 33x12.5r15's on my tj and my next set will be these again.

Ok so I've done some more research, turns out the KM2 is a great rock crawler, but not so good for the mud, and the bighorn is actually an All Terrain.

Not sure where you did your research but the KM2's are supposed to be an exellent mud tire. (Self cleaning)
These are what I'm going to be putting on my WJ this spring 265/75-16.

I was just quoting what they were saying in JP magazine and a couple of guys on another forum were saying that they were a great rock and dirt tire but they tend to clog up in thick mud. I've got the KM's on my jeep now and they're ok in mud and great in everything else except ice. Because the KM2's are relatively new not many people I know are running them so I'm just taking into consideration everyones opinion before I slammed down the $$$.

Most of the guy's I wheel with live in Montana and Idaho, and the KM2's have been out in the states for a couple of years now. They really seem to like them, those and the Destination A/T's.
The only real complaint that the've had is that if you get into sand the tires will really dig so if your not careful they will chew right down and then your good and stuck.

There's not much sand (if any at all) where I wheel so I'm not too concerned about that, but there is a **** load of mud of all types to get through, wet sloppy mud, thick slippery clay like mud and then there is what I like to call Mudskegg. Also lots of rock and steep hill climbs and deep snow in the winter. You'll see when you get to Okotoks and go wheelin in the mountains.

I got a set of KM2's this fall and hit the mud and I have to say that they are awsome in the mud, the few times i was out i was with rigs which were running swampers and TSL's and they performed pretty much the same as theirs did, I also had them out in the deep snow and once again was totally impressed with their performance, they are worth every penny in my opinion.
