This is a video/ pictures of the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 70th Anniversary edition.
Look at the bumper and the wheel flares/ fenders.
More closed up, closer to the bumper and wheels.
The Fog lights are in a different position as well.

the only difference I can tell are the wheels. The fenders look the same, the fogs on the first pic are different but second look the same as the 2011 sahara unlimiteds.

and 2012 would not be the 70th anniversary. It is this year. Interesting though.

True, 2012 is not the 70th Anniversary....but they are still offering it in the 2012 model.
As for the fenders, the 2012 model fenders are the same, but the bumper is bigger or something?? as it's closer to the fender, the gap is less.
Anyways, just posted this as many were wondering about the change in the exterior appearance.
Either way it's still looks very much like the "classic jeep" for the most part. Happy about that.
