Canada 1947 Wagon

1947 Jeep wagon used as a daily grocery getter or a sleeper out at the drag strip. A two wheel drive wagon, kept mostly stock. Retains the stock frt axle with disc brakes and a rac up frt. The rear diff is still a Dana 44 but a flanged axle out of a Scout is used. Trans is a Turbo 350 with a 2400 stall. The motor is a 540 BB Chev. The Jeep is used as a daily driver, as long as it's not snowy. It turns a time of 11.29 in the quarter mile on BFG radial tires. Yes not all Jeeps were 4x4 and some like to stay clean.

Nice job on the build. How brutal is the big block on fuel. I have a 52 running a throttle body 350 and it is pretty decent running thru a 700-R, I can't do 11 sec quarters though. Pat.
