1946 Willys Whats it worth?
Hi,
New to the form. Just bought a new Wrangler and thinking of letting the 46 go. Do I need two jeeps? Haven't got a clue what to ask for it, have a few people inerested. Total frame off rebuild about 12 years ago. Replacement steel tub ( stripped and epoxy painted, now showing some rust in joints) frame epoxy painted Both axles rebuilt, new bearings through out, new front propeller shafts with u joints) Brakes redone couple of years ago transfer case and tranny rebuilt new clutch converted to 12v engine was good so left it alone, does burn a bit of oil but runs quiet and strong. Its a daily driver all summer, runs beautiful, actually fired up and idled a couple of weeks ago after I found it in the snow drift. Can get a safety check done, have to get the horn working to pass. Any thoughts on asking price would be appreciated. Will try and find some recent pictures. Thanks |

Hi I once rebuilt a Willys Wagon .I spent a lot of money & had a hard time when I went to sell. If I remember correctly I sold it to a guy in Cape Breton.I think for around $2000.00 it was about 9 years ago.I hope there is more interest now..Pops

Re: 1946 Willys Whats it worth?
I personnaly have a 46 Willys and would not let it go below $6000, especially after a restoration.
$2000 is for a project that does not run and missing parts. Look again on Kijiji...there are some for $10 000 Good luck |
Re: 1946 Willys Whats it worth?
Ended up selling it for $5500. Sold a lot quicker than I thought it would. One less vehicle to license and insure.
