Will the TPMS sensors in my OEM Rubicon wheels work in aftermarket steel rims? Are they a one size fits all or will I have to get different sensors? I have a 2014 JK with manual tranny and with the TPMS system that displays all 4 wheel pressures. If I just remove the sensors will this cause any problems with the traction control system or will it put the vehicle in a "Limp" mode? I don't mind ignoring a low tire light on the dash but I don't want to start screwing up the TC. Does anyone have any experience with the PCM programming that would know for certain?

The sensors should fit the new wheels with no problem. On the jk's you are also able to turn off the system, not sure how to do it but I'm sure someone on here will enlighten you.

You don't "turn off" the system, what you have to do is purchase an aftermarket "tuner" which plugs into your code reader port and allows you to reprogram your jeep's computer. You reset the alarm point to be zero so it always thinks there is the proper pressure in the tires. That being said, with the Premium system which reads each wheel individually, you still need the sensors in the rims sending a signal or the system will read it as a bad sensor and continue to ring (sorry "ding") because it can't identify the wheel. This is a rather simplified answer because the TPMS is considerable more complicated in it's actual functioning.
However the TPMS has ABSOLUTELY no bearing on or input to the traction control and to my knowledge the is no "LImp" programed into a Jeep's ECM!
Like oldfart posted, while there are two different sensors for JK Wranglers which operate on different frequencies (315 and 433 hz, your 2014 uses the high one), they are a one size fits all rims item.
I ran my stock (2015) Rubi wheels and tires this winter and have purchased custom rims and tires for the summer WITH new sensors so I don't have to pull them each time I want to switch tires.
You will have to drive (it varies) 20 minutes or so on new sensors for the computer to "find" them and accept their signals but if your reusing the old ones this should not be a issue.
