Re: Mopar brakes shoes w/ less shoe now?

A couple of weeks ago, I found out an interesting fact about Mopar front
brake pads. Mopar makes a "value" line (read cheaper) front pads, and they
also sell the original equipment line of pads. Both "value" and original
equipment pads come in factory sealed Mopar boxes. This may also apply to
the rear shoes. You may have purchased the "value" line.
By the way, after checking out the ridiculous dealer prices for their
original equipment front pads, I purchased Bosch pads, and they work great.
Dealer wanted $59.99 for their "value" line front pads and a WHOPPING $140
for their original equipment front pads. I couldn't believe it.
I used the Bosch ceramic pads and so far they are nice and quiet and seem to
stop great.

Hey, I think you are right. There is a "V" in front of the normal part
number.

A good reason for upgrading brakes is to stop larger wheels.

Check out Autozone. They carry Carbon-Metallic pads and they work very well.
Around 33 bucks... Lifetime wearout warranty...
