I pulled the connector off the glass a bit and was able to call around to auto glass shops & finally found one that does proper repairs.
They use a resin based adhesive & solder and their method is best.
If you do a DIY method, chances are you will not to be able to do the proper repair as glass may be now contaminated. Many find the DIY kits work for a while, until grid gets hot, then it separates again.
