Question 2002 liberty Engine oil light.

My engine oil light comes on when I first start the engine in the morning, it will stay on for about 10 seconds and go off, this happens about five times and then does not come back on till the next morning.
I have changed the oil pressure switch and it seems to have taken care of this light coming on until I changed oil and filter last month, I used a synthetic oil and filter, could the synthetic oil cause the light?
I have a GMC truck that requires the change oil indicator light to be reset, is my liberty the same?
Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

Synthetic oil in 5W-30 should be fine. (I use Mobil1) Check to make sure filter is tight and not leaking.
What brand of filter are you using? Try using a Napa Gold, or Mobil 1 or Wix and see if that solves it.

How many miles on this engine?

I just changed the synthetic oil and filter, I also used an oil flush to see if the oil sludge was causing the light to come on when I hit 2000 RPM but with the new oil and filter on their is no change, the light goes on at 2000 RPM and will go out when the RPM drops.

What weight oil are you using? almost sounds like it's too thick on start up. I'm using 5w-30 and don't have any issues in my engine.

I am using 5W 30 synthetic oil and proper filter, I have changed the oil pressure switch when I bought the jeep in August, the light was not coming on as frequently then but as the weather got colder the light comes on even after the jeep has been running to full temp and as soon as it reaches 2000 rpm the light will come on again, drop the rpm and the light goes out.

use regular oil and see what happen..

i don't use synthetic oil in my 2007 Jeep Wrangler... but, but i use to change oil every month... like a clock... it doesn't matter how many kilometers i put in it...

never had a oil light ON... but now that i recall... my check engine light came on after put LUCAS additive... changed the oil again and that's it..!!!

my two cents...

cheers

Did you buy the dealer part for the pressure sending unit? If not get another one...
I would have a real oil pressure test done as well to be on the safe side.
